The Sheikh of the ''Ibaad-u-Ragmaan Qadiri Jamaa''ah, Haji Achmat Damon al-Qadiri al-Chisti, invites one and all to the dhikrullah that will be held at Macassar in South Africa on Saturday, 23rd May 2009. The adhkaar will commemorate the passing away of Sheikh Yusuf bin ’Abdullah al-Taj al-Khalwatiyya al-Makaasari (May Allah, The Ever-Living, Be Pleased with him). Sheikh Yusuf had passed away on 23rd May 1699 at the age of seventy-three.
Proceedings, Insha-Allah, will include the Maghrib Salaah at the Nur al-Latif Masjid in Kramat Road, the dhikrullah at the holy burial place of Sheikh Yusuf, the ''Isha Salaah in the mosque, the resumption of the Qadiriyyah in the mosque and an address by Sheikh Adam Philander.
