Imam Goolam Hoosain Parker of the Habibia Soofie Mosque in Rylands Estate, Cape Town requests the company of one and all at the dhikrullah majlis of Saturday, 11th July 2009 that will observe the death anniversary of al-Sayed Khwaja Gharib Nawaaz Mu''ain al-din Chisti of Ajmer, India. Sayed Mu''ain al-din Chisti had passed away in 1230 (May God Grant him Quietude in heaven).
From just after the necessary mid-afternoon prayer, Imam Goolam Hoosain will start the proceedings with the reading of the Chistiyyah wadhifa, after which the ’Ibaad-u-Ragmaan Qadiri Jamaa’ah will recite the Qadiriyyah set of litanies. The adhkaar will carry on till the required sunset prayer. Supper will be served.
