All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
Dear sister in Islam, thank you very much for having confidence in us and we hope our efforts, which are purely for Allah’s Sake, meet your expectations.
Answering the question, Dr. `Ali Jum`ah, professor of Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence at Al-Azhar University, states the following:
"Referring to the characteristics of the true believer, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stated that the Muslim is supposed to be sagacious and astute. In another long narration reported by Ibn Hibbaan in his authentic book, the Prophet described the true believer as the one who is fully aware of his surroundings, knowing on which side his bread is buttered.
Guided by the aforementioned Hadiths, it is better to unite and back one another instead of going into different directions at a time in which the enemies of the Muslim Ummah tend to encircle it from every corner. Muslims ought to stand as one man, both the ruler and the ruled alike, to face these ferocious attacks.
Muslims should rise to the current situation; they have to know that it is high time to overstep points of contention while keeping their unity and adopting a unified stance making both their top priority and high aim. Addressing his brother Moses, peace and blessings be upon him, Aaron (Haaroon) urged him to have unified stance and adopt the same attitude by saying: “He said: O son of my mother! Clutch not my beard nor my head! I feared lest thou shouldst say: Thou hast caused division among the Children of Israel, and hast not waited for my word.” (Taha: 94)
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him is reported to have said: “Indeed, the religion is (to disseminate sincere) advice. They (the attending Companions) said: To whom, O Messenger of Allah? He said: “To Allah, His Messenger and to the rulers of the Muslim Ummah as well as the ruled.”
Hence, both the rulers and the ruled should come to common terms in an attempt to unify the whole Muslim Ummah. Any Muslim who deviates from the straight path of Islam should be tolerated patiently in order to nib any sedition in the bud.
Also, those who air their views and proclaim their protest in the form of peaceful demonstrations should keep the unity of the Ummah and safeguard public property.
We are embarking to face a foreign enemy and we opt for regaining our usurped rights. Hence, it is inconvenient to fight one another or to transgress against each other. Allah Almighty says, “He giveth wisdom unto whom He will, and he unto whom wisdom is given, he truly hath received abundant good But none remember except men of understanding.” (Al-Baqarah: 269)"
