Answer

Wa `alaykum As-Salamu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

Dear sister in Islam, we would like to thank you for the great confidence you place in us, and we implore Allah Almighty to help us serve His cause and render our work for His sake.

First of all, we pray to Allah to support and relieve the hearts of every person who lost a loved one in the latest aggression on Lebanon. In times of crises and afflictions, women have a great role to play. Thoughout Islamic history, you can read hundreds of examples of Muslim women's role in crises. Lebanese women must set a good example in sacrifice and patience for all women. They have a significant role in rebuilding trust, confidence, and determination in the hearts of youngsters.

In her response to your question, the prominent Muslim scholar and da`iyah Zeinab Mostafa states the following:

All praise is due to Allah Who protected the great people who defended Lebanon against the latest attack. May Allah support all the Lebanese, and especially the women, whom Allah will surely grant a great reward.

To rebuild Lebanon again, women must play a significant role in building hope, trust, confidence, and determination in the hearts of youngsters. This role can be achieved through the establishment of social societies that look after orphans and the wounded, and charitable organizations that care about the material and spiritual needs of people.

Women's role in educating people, especially teenagers, is very important. Women should instill the spirit of sacrifice and determination in the hearts of all children, their own and others'.

Women should also arrange some workshops to teach other women how to better deal with crises psychologically.

May Allah bless Lebanon and its people.
