Thank you for your concern for your brothers and sisters in Lebanon. Indeed, those brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the ongoing aggression are all considered martyrs.
It is so painful and disheartening to see most of the Muslim leaders choosing silence in regards to this genocide and terror against innocents. People should call upon their rulers to openly and unconditionally condemn this aggression and exercise all statesmanship to end the suffering of people of Palestine, Iraq, and Lebanon.
In his response to your question, Dr. Sano Koutoub Moustapha, professor of fiqh and its principles, International Islamic University, Malaysia, states the following:
There are different ways and means that could be proposed to put a quick end to these atrocities. Among those means are massive peaceful protests around the globe to denounce these acts of terror against the innocent people and to appeal at the same time to decent and rational people from all religions and civilizations to think about their own children and women.
In addition to that, there must be full utilization of all political means that might help in protecting the lives of innocent and civilians.
The United Nations, the European Union, and the Organization of the Islamic Conference must show the whole world their raison d'etre by putting all types of pressure on the killers and aggressors. There should not be room for any delay in calling upon oppressors and aggressors to stop mass killings of innocent people in Palestine and Lebanon.
If the said organizations fail to exercise their ofice, they should rethink about their existence! It is shameful for mankind and the civilized nations to watch this genocide without doing anything! In the name of all religions and civilizations, we call upon the oppressors: Please stop killing innocent people! Please stop destroying the infrastructure! Please remember your women and children! Please remember the Day of Judgment! Please think about your last day in this world! Please stop killing our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters!
