There are many dilemmas facing street children and it has become overall, a humanitarian catastrophe that's confronted by various countries the world over. South Africa is one of the countries that face the problem of street children every day.

Street children face many obstacles, harm and abuse as a result of their lifestyle. On the streets, they are continuously subjected to things such as rape, dangerous diseases, and other types of physical and psychological abuse.

In the coming ten years the amount of the street children is expected to increase to 800 million by 2020, according to United Nations.

My Life Organization, South Africa, aims at making a positive change in society by developing skills for the youth and in particular children. This in turn enhances their capabilities through various rehabilitation and development programs.

Here's a link for the organization's website.
