Do you share your celebration with the needy and the poor? |
For 30 days, Muslims have been living special moments of peace and harmony, celebrating together the blessings of Ramadan.
Muslims, from different walks of life, cultures, and backgrounds, plan how they are going to make the most of their `Eid holiday.
Although they are different in their cultures and traditions, there is one thing that is common among them especially in `Eid. All of them start the celebration performing `Eid congregational prayer, then when returning home they share `Eid breakfast with their families in a festival mood.
Later, children put on their finest new clothes, take `Eidiah (`Eid allowance) happily from their elders, then lead their ways to funfairs and playgrounds to celebrate.
Now wherever you are, take the floor and tell us:
•How do you greet your families and friends? What do you say or do?
• How do you celebrate? Do you go outdoors? Where do you go? Or do you prefer staying at home? What do you do indoors?
• What kind of food do you eat?
• What songs or nasheeds do you listen to?
• Do you share your celebration with the needy and the poor? How?
