Among other acts of worship, Hajj has a unique position in the hearts of Muslims. Every Muslim, man or woman, yearns to go for Hajj and visit the Ka`bah and the Prophet's mosque. The love Muslims have for these sacred places in clearly seen in their life-time plans to perform Hajj, in bearing the hardships of the journey, and in leaving their homes, families, and businesses to respond to Allah's call.

Moreover, performing Hajj has great merits and blessings. It paves the way toParadise. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The performance of `Umrah is expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous ones. And the reward for Hajj mabroor(pilgrimage accepted by Allah) is nothing but Paradise." (Al-Bukhari)

A journey that enjoys such unique blessings deserves early preparation. People who are going to perform Hajj should spare no efforts in preparing themselves and becoming well-acquainted with all aspects related to this spiritual journey, including those concerning rulings, spirituality and health.

This folder contains a wealth of information on Hajj and a pilgrim will find all that he or she needs in order to be well-prepared when embarking on this journey of a lifetime. Hopefully, pilgrims would have the opportunity to enjoy the trip, perform the rituals correctly, return safely, and gain the blessings of performing an accepted Hajj.

If you have some ideas or information that others should share to get ready for Hajj, don't hesitate to tell us.
