COLUMBUS, Ohio — IslamOnline.net's correspondent Nancy Elbassiouny is in Columbus, Ohio, to cover the 45th Convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which kicked off on Friday, August 29.
The four-day annual gathering will discuss key issues such as spirituality, community service, economic development, family, Islamic banking and outreach.
More than 40,000 Muslims from across the United States and Canada are expected to attend the convention several events held on its sidelines.
