Gaza: The World's Largest Open-Air Prison

(Reuters Photo)

Starting with condemnation and ending up with a conference, the Arab and world leaders have barred their peoples while locking the UN decisions and any political action in their diplomatic drawers.

Before the recent siege intensified, Palestinians when asked how can the regular people of the world help them they replied with moral support; at the time, money was there, water flew from tapes, and bulbs were on. Only they needed to feel the world support for a just cause they are trying to prove.

At this certain moment, and for days, Palestinians in Gaza have been living under severe circumstances. What they came out to ask for now is just one simple right, the round-eyed right to life.

For a person sitting in front of his computer, watching news, pictures, and monitoring what is happening, his next step is to write about it, raise the attention of that person living at the other end of the world in front of a similar screen that does not show him Gazans in their prison.

Another would call his political representative or even the office of his president and ask him for action.

Venues are numerous, yet who did take a step and how? After all, it is a humanitarian crisis not less than those notorious Darfur massacres.

Tell us how do you think common individuals in the world can help Gazans …
