Question
Salam alaikum,
The Americans are saying that they are "liberating Fallujah" from the "insurgents." What are the Fallujan civilians feelings towards the resistance fighters? Are most of the fighters from Fallujah?
Answer
Resistance is a right granted by all holy laws. The people of Fallujah support the resistance because they are protecting their houses and their city. Some of them, who had children and elders, left the city to ensure their safety; others preferred to die and be martyrs in their own city. There is a big difference between resistance and terrorism. The people of Fallujah aren’t terrorists; they are defending their lives, their families and city. This must made clear; so this is not terrorism.
My sons were in Fallujah when the US Army entered the Moalemeen neighborhood (I don’t know anything about one of my sons who was there until now). The Army made calls, through microphones, that families must leave their houses. While the families were leaving, the army arrested all the men and no one knows anything about the women until this moment. No one knows where the women and children are. While other families were leaving their house in response to the call of the American Army, they were bombed by aircrafts. Other families left their houses asking for help for the wounded family members. They were on the streets. The American tanks ran over them.
During the attack, after three days, the planes threw chemical weapons and powders, but thank God, the sky started raining at once, and it dissolved all the powder; this incident happened more than once.
Moreover, as you know, the Americans arrested the medical staff in Fallujah hospital and prevented humanitarian aid to reach the people in Fallujah. You must have heard about the aid that the Iraqi Red Crescent brought to Fallujah. The Americans took it to the American military hospital instead of giving it to the people.
I want to talk about what is going on in Fallujah now. My sons and relatives are there now. I am in touch with them through satellite phones (I don’t know anything about one of my sons who was there until now). I used to go to Fallujah often in the first days of the attack, then when the fighting became so fierce, I stopped, but I receive my relatives coming from there, and I have sons and nephews there too. I am in touch with them. I want to tell you about what they and I saw.

My nephew Bakr was wounded two months ago in Fallujah by the cluster bombs thrown on Fallujah by the Americans. Now as he was being cured, the new attack started again, and he is in Fallujah now. The truth is that the bombing on Fallujah has never stopped for months, but it wasn’t continuous. The big attack started on November 5, but they announced it on November 7, after two days of heavy bombing.

Question
What is the conditions of our brothers and sisters living inside and outside Fallujah? How can we help them apart from dua`a (supplications) from here?
Answer
The situation is horrible. There is no water or electricity. No food. The roads are closed, dead bodies are everywhere, wounded people can’t find doctors or medicine. Every living person inside Fallujah is just waiting for the time he will die there. They lack the most basic of human needs. Even the air is polluted.
Some of those who left Fallujah came to Baghdad. Some of those who are in camps are getting some support through some organizations. The Fallujans in Baghdad who are registered in the Iraqi Islamic Party are given some food and help from the party; the rest were hosted in Baghdadis’ houses. A minority can afford renting small houses in Baghdad.
You can help these families through supporting the humanitarian organizations, or through community members. In each neighborhood a man who knows these families and is trusted to distribute humanitarian aid to them will be selected to do this job. I am personally in touch with about 100 families here. I am receiving some aid soon from an NGO and I am going to distribute the aid to them.

Question
What is the real situation in Falluja? Are the Americans really in control? And how many people are fighting on behalf of Iraq there?
Answer
The Americans are controlling the main streets and exits, but most of the small streets and alleys are controlled by the fighters, and that’s why the Americans are not allowing any media to get inside fallujah to expose that.
Concerning the number of fighters, I cant comment on that. May God bless their number.

Question
I have seen different reports on how many dead and wounded there are on each side of the battle. The Americans say 38 Americans have been killed and 275 wounded and 1200 insurgents killed. However, Sheikh Al-Thulami of the Shura Council in Fallujah says several hundred Americans are dead. Who is correct?
Answer
God knows the real numbers. I don’t have correct numbers, but they are sure much more than what they announce. You can see how much lying is there in the Western media, and the statements of the White House. Remember all the statements about the WMD and the links to Al-Qaeda? These are all lies.
The numbers of killed soldiers are much bigger. Last night two military personnel vehicles, full of soldiers, were destroyed— just last night; my son was in Garma and came today and he told me about it, and it wasn’t reported in the media at all.

Question
I can't believe that many of my fellow Americans still think that our army is in Iraq to bring you "liberty". so tell us, do any Iraqis feel liberated? Have your lives improved in any way--when you're not actually under attack? Are there any signs of colonization in school books or on TV? Are the Americans trying to brainwash Iraqis into accepting the American presence? God bless you all.
Answer
The Americans didn’t attack us to liberate us; there are many political goals, like ensuring the security of Israel.
This country has not been librated, it was destroyed. The American media is lying. If they were here to liberate us, how did they end up being occupiers, and how did we end up being occupied? Liberation doesn’t include killing. They didn’t come to liberate us; they came to occupy us, to fight us, to fight Arabs and Muslims, but we have strong faith, and we will keep fighting till we liberate ourselves in sha’ Allah (Allah willing).
They call for Freedom and democracy; where are they? They are using these slogans to distract the media only. Our society and culture are different from their culture; they can’t impose their idea of "liberation" and "democracy" on us. That’s false.

Question
Salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuh. May Allaah bless you and keep you and your family safe, akhi.
What can you tell us about the Association of Muslim Scholars? What is the position of Shaykh al-Janabi and others in the city of Fallujah? Are the Salafiyoon planning to enter into the elections next year?
Jazak Allaah khayr.
Answer
Al-Janabi is a religion man. He was arrested and tortured during Saddam's reign. He is widely respected in Fallujah. He enjoys a very good reputation among the people of Fallujah generally, and he supports resistance as it is people's right to defend themselves. He is a brave man. He is the kind of man who never fears to say what he believes in.
As for the other part of the question, Salafists and all Sunnis as the Association of Muslim Scholars announced are not going to be part of the elections.
As Al-Faidy, speaking on behalf of the Association, announced that the Association will not participate in the elections, it seems that we have forgotten something: to make elections, we must have security; who will provide security for those who are going to vote?
Look at the destruction that has happened in the governorate of Anbar. It will need months, if not years, to be rebuild the governorate and to clean it, and to compensate the victims;, how do you expect all of this to be done in two months?

Question
What are the humanitarian aid supply levels inside Fallujah now?
Answer
Dear friend,
Till now the city of Fallujah has received no real humanitarian aid. Even a hospital that is under construction in Al-Nazzla neighborhood was bombed, schools have been bombed. So humantarian aid is not the only thing that we need; however, we haven't received any yet.

Question
Salaam dear brother,
I feel deeply, deeply hurt by what is happening to the Muslims in Fallujah and all of Iraq.
As you probably know, the Muslims over here in the UK only know what they are told by the media about what is happening in Iraq. How can we find out what is really happening?
My second question is, how can we help the people of Fallujah (and Iraq in general)?
You are in my prayers.
Wasalaam.
Answer
As-salamu `alaykum.
You can know a lot of the facts through the Internet and through Iraqis.
Concerning the way you can help people, you can either support NGOs, or you can send donations to me directly and I can distribute it to the families that left fallujah. I am in touch with a lot of them. To get my phone number contact IslamOnline.net at spotlightoniraq@islamonline.net

Question
What is the difference between the American occupation and the Israeli one? I see that both of them commits massacres steel the blessings of the country, tries to weep the Islamic cultures and its signs as it destroys Mosques and Holy Places. The americans came to protect israel and to steel the petrol. The didn't come to leberate the Iraqis, but they came to opress them. I suggest that they return to their country.
Where is the Islamic or Arabic army to fight them?
Answer
As-salamu `alaykum.
I agree with you. They are both the same. They are both working with the same strategy to control the Middle East.

Question
Salaam,
When these occupiers enter the house of any Iraqi what do they say or they just enter like the herd of elephants and start shooting? May Allah be with the people of Fallujah and rescue them from this situation they are in now.Amen.
Answer
As-salamu `alaykum.
They start with heavy shooting at the house form outside, then they break the door and run into the house and make the family lie on the ground while they point their weapons on them. They humiliate everyone and put their shoes on people's heads. They scream and they break things in a very scary and barbaric way. Imagine what children and women do in that situation. It happened with me personally. They stormed the war shelter a few months ago, at 5 a.m., here in Baghdad. I was lucky enough to woke before they come in, and I went out and told the transalter to give us sometime, just till the women cover their hair. In moments, they ran in and messed everything in the shelter. Thank God no one was hurt.

Question
Asslamo alikum
what would you like to say to the arabs and the other muslims who are not coming forward and are not raising their voice against this brutal aggression by the americans?
Answer
I want to tell Arabs and Muslims in general that we need to distinguish between terrorism and resistance, so you can support your brothers in Iraq in every way. Don't condemn resistance, and speak up to the media; let the world know what is going here.
