Doug Clark is the International Policy Director for United Families International (www.unitedfamilies.org), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation headquartered in Arizona and holding ECOSOC accreditation in the United Nations as a Non-Governmental Organization. He has consulted at various UN conferences and events, including the Commission on Status of Women, Commission on Population and Development, Commission for Social Development, Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, Special Session of the UN General Assembly on Children, World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, and Fifth Asian and Pacific Population Conference in Bangkok. He was a private-sector member of a three-person delegation that visited Central America and met with various national leaders on family policy.

Doug was educated at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, earning a Bachelor of Arts in languages and history, a Master of Business Administration, and a Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. He was an Honors Program graduate, a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Dobra Slova national honor societies, and Managing Editor of the Law Review, and received the law school’s Faculty Scholarly Writing Award.

His legal career has included commercial and civil rights litigation and trial practice, as well as corporate and commercial transactions and licensing and regulatory compliance, with an emphasis in banking law. He has served as adviser on federal and state regulatory compliance matters. Doug was a Web site executive while serving as Vice President of Content of the original Law.com and as its Executive Director of Legal Resources Development. He taught corporate law in the paralegal program at Westminster College in Salt Lake City.

He is the author of several published books and articles, and has done extensive research and writing on the patriarch Abraham.
