Dr. Laura Drake was born in San Francisco. She got her Ph.D in international relations from the American University in Washington. She has traveled throughout the world, to more than 20 countries. She lived for a couple of years in the Palestinian camps, learned Arabic from dealing with people suffering under occupation. She has been supportive to the Palestinian issue.
Dr. Laura is currently working as the Editor of Middle East Affairs Journal. She is also a member of the Board of Directors at the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR).
