Four years since the Darfur conflict erupted, violence and hunger continue to ravage the western Sudanese region, claiming more innocent lives while the world stood helpless.

You are invited to meet Dr. Ahmed Nabeel Hafagi, the representative of the Egyptian Medical Association of humanitarian relief in Darfur.

Since 2004,The Egyptian medical team in Darfur have established a field hospital that included a number of clinics, which began their work on the spot.

The Egyptian medical relief effort in Sudan is mainly directed at the largest regions: Darfur, Malakal, and Juba. The refugee camps there are currently populated by about more than 300,000 of the nearly one million Sudanese who fled the violence in Darfur.
