Dr. Ghannouchi was originally born in Tunisia to a religious family. Growing up, he was a student activist. In his studies, Dr. Ghannouchi focused his studies on Chemical Engineering, for which he received his Ph.D.
Dr. Ghannouchi has lived in the United States for the past 10 years, where he served as the Imam and President of the Islamic Center of Madison, Wisconsin for several years.
Currently, Dr. Ghannouchi serves as the President of the Muslim American Society and Editor-in-Chief of the American Muslim Magazine. Dr. Ghannouchi is married and has 3 children.
