Nicholas Matzke Nick Matzke is a Public Information Project Director at NCSE. He has a double B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Valparaiso University, and a Master's degree in Geography from U.C. Santa Barbara. In the area of evolution and earth history education, Nick specializes in making the scientific literature accessible and understandable to the public, in order to rebute antievolutionist claims about the evolution of biological complexity.
Mustafa Akyol Mustafa Akyol is a Turkish Muslim writer and columnist based in Istanbul, Turkey. Akyol was born in Ankara in 1972 and had his early education there. Later he graduated from Istanbul Nisantasi British High School and from the International Relations Department of the Bosphorus University. He has given seminars in several universities in the U.S. and the U.K. on issues relating to Islam and modernity. Mustafa Akyol is a proponent of Intelligent Design and one of the expert witnesses who testified to the Kansas State Education Board during the hearings on evolution.
