More and more, individuals are finding it difficult to relate to the world around them. This could be for many reasons, including, changes due to adolescence, the growing insensitivity amongst communities, the inability or the freedom to genuinely trust someone. Whatever the reason, if you have found yourself in this situation, is it not time to do something about it!?

Anisa Abeytia received her MA from Stanford University and BA from the University of Southern California. She is an integrative health specialist currently pursuing an MS in holistic nutrition. Over the past 10 years, she has pursued various fields of holistic and traditional medicine. She studied at the oldest herbal school in the US and pursued a two-year certificate program in Islamic healing. She regularly writes on the topics of health and nutrition. She maintains the website Womenshealingcircle.org, a site dedicated to the natural health of women and their families.

Dr. Malek Yamani holds two PhDs in psychology and linguistics. He writes regularly on the topics of Islam, self development and society. His latest title, Dreams, is due out. In addition he is the founder of Al Assas online Arabic Institute (www.alassas) and director of Yamcom.

Anisa and Malek have been married for over ten years. They currently live in Dubai with their four children and are awaiting their fifth (insha-Allah).
