After referal .. What is the Iranian agenda to face the West's move?

As we all konw that Iran Warned from the begining of the Western escalation that any referal to the UN council will stop any Iranian cooperation. because there is a decission for the Islamic council that prevents Government from applying the portocl once a referal takes place. I believe the next Iranian step will be restoring work to the Iranian nuclear plants after a
long period that lasted for 30 months.cooperation will be within the limit of NPT only not the protocol.

As we all the decission has been made already. But the Iranian response is ready and will be handed during the next hours and states that steps taken before will not continue. Iran stopped uranium enrichment voluntarily to build confidence between Iran and the West but the Western escalation gives Iran no hope or reason to continue this policy.

We know that the Iranian decission is a higher decission than the President. It is a collective decission that is being made by several councils and authorities. The government applies these decissions after a thorough study of all possibilities and consequences. In light of the previous, the government must have more than one way and means that suit the current situation. To sum it up, it is not possible by any means to go back in its decission after realising that the western cenario is further than just the nuclear problem. The West wants Iran to change its principles and beliefs that were founded by the Revolution, meaning changing the current ruling system.

As a political analyst, How do you see the Iranian policy in this issue inside the country and ouside ?

I think that the Iranian nuclear dossier is national issue for all the Iranian people and there is no contradiction between the different political parties and the Iranian people abroad about it. Regarding the way Iran deals with the dossier, there might be a discussion about it despite the Western stubborn way of dealing with it which led to escalating the Conservative parties situation who saw there was no need to deal with he West in the first place as they believe the West is not sincere (wether USA or Europe)about their policies with Iran. They asked that Iran neglects the NPT since there is duplication in the way it deals with countries in the area like Israel of course who owns more than 200 nuclear heads.

The referal happened already as we know, the escalation took place by the West. Iran has no other choice but to comply with the Western requests which aim at depriving Iran from Nuclear technology or to confront the West and protect its achievements in the nuclear field whatever it costs. I believe the first choice is not possible at all.

I think that the nuclear issue witnessed a lot of disagreement especially in the west. People think that every nulcear action is bomb, the truth is that nuclear technology is becoming essential for development and helps in tens of fields whether medical ,agricultural or industrial with a cost that is less than 1/3 of the fuel energy cost.
We do not have nuclear projects as the West imagines, they want to have a monopoly over this technology and never allow any other country to especially if it is a non western country.

Despite the escalation, the military confrontation is out of our consideration, if not impossible, for the time being due to the American presence in Iraq and the region. The US forces can not have wider presence in the region currently in addition to the Geographical position of Iran and its composition which differs completely from the other countries which have been invaded. Iran has a democratic electoral system that can not be replaced by another monarchy, the Iranian Society is different from what the West imagines.The 8 year war with Saddam was another issue, Iran was weaker and Saddam received international assistance.

A country like yours does not need WMD (weapons of mass destruction) because you are already equipped with WMD (weapon of mass defense). Ho’s Vietnam possessed it in the past. What is the benefit in arguing to western made systems to prove Iran’s legal rights while their system is purely based on agendas, not on wisdom or justice. Writing against prophet is freedom of speech there, while talking about holocaust is not. Wearing anything is human rights except head scarves. When we want to have a dialogue of civilization and cooperation between different races, they want clash of civil civilization and submission of other races. I don’t mean all western people are like this but a minority upper layer who control that system behave in such a manner. So we have to use other peaceful methods to diminish these layers strength first. As a first step, isn’t it better for Iran to accept Russian offer and proceed with your oil burse to trade in Euro ? I am a sunni and I am sure 1 billion plus Muslims prayers are with your country.

It is very clear that Iran was not behind the escalation, Iran's cooperation during the past months was for the sake of avoiding the current and present situation, but Iran now is convinced that the issue is not uranium enrichment at all especially after the double measures the west is taking and the enrichment is still held, but the West insisted in defying Iran although the West knew the circumstances that surrounded this dossier.

I mentioned before that it is almost impossible now for a military action to take place, but if the West decides to take such an action Iran has the defense mechanisms and right reaction to such an attack. I believe Israel knows very well all this because attacking Iran will cause massive losses for Israel. It might threaten its very survival which is already facing many obstacles , so Israel needs to minimize the opposition found against its presence in the region not add another new one.

I believe that you have the right to say what you want, if you read the newspapers you will find that what you say is not true and it seems you have not lived for a long time under the Shah because you would not have said that. In the past while Iran did not rely on allies like china or Russia after being assured that they are helping the West. This is normal and logical in the world of interests, political game. China and Russia and any other country that has interests with the West can never stand beside Justice or defend it. But Iran has other Arab and Islamic allies but their votes did not help enough as the USA had enough partners who voted for the decission.

I think that people in Iran disagree with you as they believe that if there is necessity to use all the means and wealth that Iran has to prevent the attack or answerback to it, then let it be. The Iranians think that the USA will not end its hostility against Iran if Iran gives up its nuclear tests and programs because the US has other files still hidden, like human rights, US democracy, terrorism...etc which will all follow once Iran agrees to the first condition. Negotiation with Europe proved this when they asked Iran openly to change its policy towards the Middle East and approve of the presence of Isarel. The future will prove this more and more

It is very clear that Iran can not be prevented from having Nuclear weapons, but now it is being prevented from having nuclear technology even for peaceful purposes.the question must be directed to the whole international community about these double measures that they use. It is prohibited to discuss Israel's case and the fact that it owns more that 200 nuclear heads, but any other coutnry faces terrible sanctions and threats for having intentions, only intentions, of using nuclear technology peacefully.

I really do not know the hidden goals behind such a move. The EU knows very well that the USA will not share its profits or whatever it wins with any body, Palestine Iraq and Lebanon are the best examples for the USA policy in the region. I believe the US will not have a partner in the region and Europe should have learned the lesson well after IRaq, unless there is a European fear from the an American revenge in the case of not cooperating with the US.

If you take time to actually read the IAEA referral to the UNSC, you would know the reasons why Iran is in such trouble. It clearly states that Iran has consistently failed to abide by the requirements of all of the nuclear non-proliferation treaties and is not to be trusted or believed. As a retired veteran, I think that Iran is playing with fire and will be sorely burned. The world can not continue to permit Iran and similar dictatorships to cast a pallor of death over the peaceful nations. Do you agree????

I certainly think that you are easily affected, Iran did not escalate the issue, we put all our programms under observation. It is not fair to judge Iran that way and say it is playing with fire and has no mercy to do this to its people.It is also unfair to show the West as the only democracy available and any terrorist action is being called "Islamic terrorism". We should judge matters logically and without being so affected by the Western media and read and then decide.
