Speeaking on Pakistani Controlled Kashmir, the real challenges facing aid agencies is access far remote areas that are hard to reach in normal conditions. Now becoming impossible due to blocked roads due to the earthquake.

Well i know how much efforts local and international NGOS are making for Relief of earth quake in Pakistan.. But the fact is that there all many areas still not yet bieng rescued and no relief has been reached to them...what Islamic relief are doing for them? like Wadi Neelum and other upper areas? Those poeple and dying without medicine food and shelter..
another thing as days passing cold winds are increasing and diseases are spreading...how would u deal with this problem
One more thing...a very important issue of Rebuilding those areas...aas for bieng muslim and pakistani i would never want any outside help from USa or Europian country...i wish our own people Islamic nations should come first and take this responsiblity of Rebuilding....????
and What do u say about Child Adoption from those areas..im afraid those childeren must not go in wrong hands of internation NGOss...

Islamic Relief is working in Neelum Valley since 2001 on helath and water and sanitation.
Yes many ... many areas are currently in-accessable due to earth movments and blocked roads.
Today Islamic Relief volunteers from UK deplyed earthmovement equipment to Manshera and onward to AJ&K. these equipment will be used through Pakistan Army to open roads in some areas with priorty to Neelum Vally.
as Regards to winter : since the begining of this emeregcny and untill todya we distributed winterized tents, winter colthing ...etc.
as regards to your point on outside help : Islamic Relief, like many other humanaterian agencies, we work to relief the suffering of poor people without regards to race, religion, color ...etc
as regards to children that will be orphaned by this disaster : Islamic Relief is already collecting information and working also through Pakistan and Kashmir Governmnet, UN agnecies, INGOs to design projects to catter for them.

Islamic Relief is part of the Diaster managment Team in Pakistan that conist of Pakistan Gov. UN agencies, INGOs. whereby daily updates, actions, donations are announced and coordinated.

Initial estimates were 90% destruction .... now you can imagine the volume of aid needed.
Most of the world Government pledged money and in-kind assistance. Still a lot needed in billions of $, and time to restore lifes.

First of all NO competition, it is just a disaster and Islamic Relief is helping in the overall relief efforts.
We are currently distributing tents, kitchen sets, plastic sheets, blankets ... etc. the st phase we targeted 10,000 families that will increase inshallah as long as the aid comes forward.

All over Pakistani controlled kashmir : Muzafarabad, Bagh, Rawalkot, Dir Kot, Forward Kahota, and Kuttan (actually allover Kashmir.
How are the people coping at this time and how are their spirits.
Answer
The spirits are high ... and the Islamic culture has provided grounds for this. A lot of assistance is just coming from even poor Pakistani. They share their food, which is not enough for them, with the victims. They donate on daily basis to Islamic Relief Pakistan.
