Question
Assalamu aleikum sister,

Firstly, I would like to commend your courage and bravey, as it takes a lot to stand proud as a Muslim woman in such times. May ALLAH strengthen you and protect you. It is obvious from your silent protest, that you hold the hijab near and dear to your heart, and it means a lot to you. Can you, in your own words, describe what the hijab means to you personally and in the context of Islam? Thank you. Again you are an inspiration to all ma sha ALLAH.
Answer
Hijab for me is a religious obligation; it's a dress of honor and dignity
If I have shaved my head as I did, that was I do not have any other solution to go to my school. I prefer to shave my head than to commit a sin. According to my knowledge, there are no other girls who have done the same.

Question
First,, I thank you for your extraordinary courage but do not you think that there were other ways of protest? what was the reaction of your non-Muslim french colleagues?

Answer
What I did was not to protest the hijab ban but to look for a quick solution to go to the school, there was no time. My Non-Muslim friends supported me strongly and what they did make me highly spirited.

Salam,

Peux tu nous dire comment est la reaction de tes professeurs apres avoir rase tes cheveux?
Est ce qu'il ya d'autres filles muslmanes qui ont fait la meme chose?

Answer
Generally, my teachers have taken very bad reactions against my protest; they treated me badly and ignore my questions and my existence .Despite that, a teacher told me that what I have done has eradicated at one hour her 37 years of discrimination against the Muslims.

Question
Assalamu aleikum to All

Protesting the hijab ban is the duty of every muslim but this way of protesting is not acceptable at all as Islam tells us to cover the full head not only the hair.Pls let me know if the whole of french schools ban or only the Government schools. Is there not any Muslim schools around and if not then we muslims have to start one soon inshallah.

Answer
The Hijab ban applied on the stat schools only but also the Christian schools refused to accept the Muslim girls. According to my knowledge, there is one Muslim School in Lille and I agree with you that Muslims should start to have their schools.

Question
Is it permissible in islamic societ for a girl to do what the girl just did, and what point did she make by shaving her head?

Answer

This depends on my intention. In Islam, your actions depend on your intentions
I, myself, would like to ask a question: Is it permissible in Islam, for a girl, to show her hair?!! I have no choice than what I did.

Question
Assalaam Aliekoum,

Today, our sister and daughters in France, Europe, and the whole world are living a new battle of honor. I pray for Allah to have them win it. Europe is afraid of the increase Muslim population; new (discriminative) legislations would be established to fight that. What do you say to your follow Muslim sisters all over the world who gave up their HIJAB to follow the new styles and the western way of living? What do you to Sheikh M. Tantawi who “Betrayed“ you and the other sisters and the Ummah?

I pray for all you, the new "Virgin Marry(s)" of this time.

Answer
I respect their choices ; the girls who take off their hijab to study in their schools. I know many of them who are suffering from thatas it was out of their hands to do so . They did not find any other way. Thanks for your engorgement but I can not accept comprising me with Virgin Marry. I do not mean that by my action and I do not like to be seen like that, it was just a try.

Question
AA,

I am sorry to hear what you are going through but don't you think getting a bunch of sisters together to form a speakers bureau and write and speak on this issue would have been better way to protest?

Answer
This was my own choice; I do not want to waste my time. I did that to join my colleagues at the class. Already there are many organizations that mobilize and gather the girls to advocate their issue. But during this time, the girls who choose to keep the hijab will miss their classes, this is the problem and this was my own solution.

Salaams dear sister i just want to say well done we are very proud of your civil disobedience.

This was a very brave action, you turly proved your modesty and your committment to Islam by doing this. I'm sorry you have been criticised by some Muslims who think shaving ones head is also forbidden but they show no understanding of your position. What advice to pro-hijab?

Answer
I'm very grateful to you my brother. I think that I had a sincere intention in what I have done. I think that every one should look for his own way to solve the problematic current situation.

Question
As-salamu Alaykum Sister,

My deepest sympathies are with you and the rest of the French Muslim sisters who are going through a very difficult phase of their life.

I would like to ask you: what prompted you to shave off you head to protest against the hijab-ban? Do you think that the French government heeds a girl's hair more than their law?
Also, for a muslim girl to shave off her head is a breachment of Shariah. What do you have to say on this?

Thank you.

Answer
Many thanks Sister . I answered your questions before.
