I fear this is going to be a further reason to justify assault on another Muslim soil. Are there any signs of military actions to be taken due to this attack? In my country, non-Muslim is on immense condemnation campaign of Islam, they blame Islam as a religion that breeds hate and revenge. The impact has tremendously reached South East Asia as we speak. This has disturbed me emotionally as much as the act of terror. I fear for my Islam brothers in UK, US, Australia and in some other European countries. I fear repercussions against our brothers in respond to London Attacks.
Answer

The bais news media paints such perpetrators as "Muslim Extreemist" who did theirs actions in the name/cause of Islam. Such actions are unquestionably anti Islamic. For one, Islam forbbids such actions. Also such action steer others against muslims. By Then Bush and Blair are pardoned for their on going unjust finacial plots in the
MidEast and elsewhere. If such people are realy Muslims then they are big idiots or mad men. Or else they are anti Islamic missionary extremists. What do you think?
Answer
I agree with you that the act of terror which happend in london was un Islamic. Islam forbids killing innocent people and value lives. There is the saying of the prophet peace be upon him "taking the live of a Muslim is worse than demolishing the KABA." We Muslims respect lives be it a Muslim live or nine Muslim live.

Question
Salaam,
The London attack was unfortunate and disgraceful. My condolence. I hope London will get back to normal ASAP.
But I'm annoyed when Muslims are quick to declare themselves "moderate Muslims", and please do not associate themselves with the "extreme Muslims". First of all, who says those who kill civillians are "extreme Muslims"?
Extreme means "existing in a very high degree (extreme poverty)", "most advanced or thoroughgoing".
Moderate means "avoiding extremes of behavior or expression : observing reasonable limits (moderate drinker)", "limited in scope or effect".
Come on!
Secondly, why do they have to label the bombers "Islamist terrorist"? They are just "terrorists". This came from the British Prime Minister, and a former minister of Spain, among many others. What kind of leaders are that? Aren't they supposed to be educated enough to see the difference, and not to give such blatantly ignorant, bigoted remark?
And the most crappy one was the comments from Rumsfeld, saying that this is because of their freedom! Hello?? Surely they refuse to look at the root of the terrorist problem. Attacking civilians is wrong, but it's the only venue seen by some people with distorted minds. Pretending that it's the freedom of US and UK and Spain etc that creates those distorted minds is also wrong.
All right-minded people condemn these killings of innocent civillians, whether terrorist bombings or "carpet-bombings".
We are not behind this attack, so we do not have to be apologetic about the doings of those terrorists.
Answer
The term "islamic terrorism" is un acceptable it is offensive to all muslims, however, in every religion and societies there are minute element with some kind of radicalism. we used to have in this country IRA terorist and no body used to call them catholic terrorist, in the same case if there are some muslims who bellong to the Islamic faith who carring out some sort of terror activities we should't call them islamic terrorism. We muslims in the UK and other part of the world should not be appoligetic as we have done no wrong. We also should condem any act of terror, tergeting innocent civillians.
The city of london is cosmopolitan city with all religions and races in the world. One in every ten londoner is a Muslim. The people of london marched in millions to condem the war in Iraq and the injustice in palestine it time we make friends not enemies. My orgnasation Muslim Assoaciation of Britain allong with our friend fron the stop the war coalition and CND marched in the streets of london with millions of other fellow citizen denouncing the war in Iraq.

Bin laden said quoted from the Independent Newspaper, yesterday Article, that "If you bomb our cities, we will bomb your cities". What is your opinon on that , and do you think that more attacks are inevitable, what are you doing to promote the interests of the muslim community, more positively.
Answer
Muslims in the west are asked to respect the contract they signed with thier particular countries. when we came here we did not came as a conqurers (fatihin). The best practise for muslim in europe is to make Dawah and call to the way of Allah. killing and shedding the blood of innocent people will not promote our cause.

Question
do you think it is important for us, in this time more than ever, to renew our committment to the classical orthodox understanding of islam, represented through the madhhaib of law of this religion, the schools of 'aqidah and the turuq of spiritual purification? for surely, if these attacks were by muslims, the acts were a symptom of the greater problem that we no longer follow authentic scholarship, and prefer egotistical anarchy.
Answer
There is nothing called orthodox islam, Islam is religion for all ages and places. We should not be scared by what is going on today, and the weaknes of the Muslim Ummah at this day and time. The Madhabs or the school of laws are highly respected by all muslims but we cannot close the endeavour( alijtad) as there are new events, thing, incidnets which needs some sort answere. We cannot turn blind to what is going in the world, we have to be upto the challenge by modernising our fiqh and facing the challenge. We have great scholars such us Sheikh Yussuf alqardhawi, fatwa institutions as the one we have in Europe, European coucil for Fatwa and research. Today muslims are living as a minority in variouse countries, this is unpresedented situation, our fuqahaa were dealing with cases where the muslims were majority. We need to go go back to the text ( Qur'an and Sunnah) and derive fiqh for the muslims living as minority.

assalam alaikom warahmat allah wabarakatoh, dear doctor are there any quick plan for the muslim Cumunity in the U.K,regarding these attacks?for example are there any plan to establish high delegation cometee to introduce condulanceses for the uk govermen, and to visit defferent media like news paper,tv chanels to expalain the correct values of islam?
Answer
Muslims in the united kingdom are citizen of this country, they with the wider society there happiness and grievience. we have direct contact with the government, there is security in place by the police for our mosques and Islamic instiutions. there might be little incidents here and there, but there is no major attck on our institutions and fellow muslims.
The leadership of the Muslim commutity had a meeting lastnight, our view is that we should condem what happend in london, we muslims are not guilty of what happend therfore, there is no reason why we should be appoligatic. We should carry on our lives as normal, and as a citizen of this country we should take part in the emergency service by donating blood and showing sympathy to the victims who were injoured or killed. this is a shocking moment for us all and we should unite.

Isn't it wrong that we are always hesitant to accept that we have people that openely call for war or a clash? Here in US, they are replaying an audio from a May 23 demonstration in UK on talk radio where they raised such slogans? How long can we allow such people to make headline instead of our press releases?
Answer
As I mentioned before there is a small element of extremists in every religion and society, we have in our fellow muslims some few elements who will use force to get political gain and that is not accepted in Islam.

Question
Assalam Alaykum,
why so many muslim organizations are the first to be ready with their statements if something bad happens to the kufar, while we do not hear from them in the same way if uk or usa kill thousands of muslims and secondly please explain how muslims can pray for the victims of the attack in uk if it is not allowed in islam to pray for dead people if they are non-muslims?
Answer
Muslims are asked to upheld justice.
Our religion is teaching us to be justice, even with our lives.
Making justice should be for all.
there is no reason why we should sit quiet and idol, when such killing and bloodshed happened to innocent and civilian people.
We condemned it when it happened in Afghanistan aswell as Iraq, abd we continue to condemn the evil act which is carried by sharon and the innocnt people of Palestine. We are opposing all sorts of unjustice which is befalling to all human kind.
That is the message of Islam and that is what we believe.
