Question
Is there a future for Iraq when there is no political vision for the resistance?
Answer
Well, I think that there is a political vision for the resistance in Iraq. Perhaps it is not a perfect one but it does exist.
There are several movements that work within the resistance; some of the resistance groups are moderate Islamists, others constitute an extreme form of Islamism (i.e. al-Qaeda). Also there are Arab nationalist movements represented by the officers of the Iraqi armed forces that got dissolved after the US-led occupation; their major line is to free the country from the military presence of the Americans and establish a democratiic rule over Iraq.

Question
How to help the two sects of Muslims understand that they are only making the non-believers happier by killing themselves?
Answer
I agree with you completely. When Muslims get rid of their sectarian tendencies and have Islam as a joint cause, then things will be much better than now; but always remember that the tactic of a foreign rule is "Divide and Conquer."

Question
Why has violence being raging so fiercely since the start of the war? Why is it increasin day after day? Why wasn't it present during Saddam's reign?
And most importantly, how to stop this deadly wave of violence in Iraq?
Answer
I think that the American invasion of Iraq was a wrong act and any foreign invasion will give birth to ever mounting resistance and this will necessarily need to blood baths.
The only solution for Iraq is a time table for American withdrawal from Iraq and the immediate call for a reconciliation conference for Iraqis to decide on their future by having elections.
The only groups that participate in the elections are those favored by the Americans or supportive of the US invasion, everyone else suppressed and persecuted. This is no way to lead a country which needs an immediate form of national reconciliation, services, and development.

Question
Would it be helpful if your country was divided into three parts -- Sunni, Shite and Kurd? Is that the so-called goal of your resistance?
Answer
No, the separation of the country is not desired neither by its population nor by the resistance. Most of us (Iraqis) believe in a unified, democratic, and free Iraq.

Question
Dear Sir,
I am an Iranian living in Tehran who hates Iran's regime. I strongly believe that the world must get rid of this regime before there is any change in Iraq. I believe the UK, who traditionally supports Shiite clerics, cheated the US (with the help of Iran's spies like Ahmed Chalabi) and urged them to attack Iraq in order for the US not to attack and change Iran's mullahs first. The UK loves Khomeini's fundamentalism and so they gave Iraq to Iran's puppets like Hakim and Ja'fari to set up an Iran-like regime in Iraq. Moderate clerics like Abdolmajid Khoei were assasinated by Iran. Even in Iraq, UK soldiers are not attacked and killed (a big question mark).
My question is how the people of Iraq are so much lovingly after making an Iran-like regime? Don't they see how brutal and mohebbol - donya are the mullahs?
Answer
I think the majority of Iraqis don’t want to have a regime which is similar to that of Iran. The Kurds are opposed to such a regime. Most of the Sunnis are either secular or Islamist in their own way, which doesn’t allow Wilaiet Al Faqieh. I guess that most of the Iraqi Shiites are secular and don’t abide by the Iranian example. So there are only some of the Shiites who believe in a rule based on Wilaiet Al Faqieh and they are incapable of imposing that regime in Iraq.

Question
The journal Biological Threats and Global Warnings recently published an article describing Iran's efforts to destroy Iraq and obtain revenge. Is Iran the source of all the killings?
Answer
No, Iran is not responsible for all sorts of killings because it doesn’t occupy Iraq for the time being.

Question
Will there be peace or continuous chaos if America retreats? And please explain your response in depth.
Answer
I think that American invasion of Iraq was based on two assumptions: the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the links between the former regime and al-Qaeda. These two reasons proved to be completely wrong, so I can't understand why they are still in Iraq and the bloodshed hasn't stopped for the past three years.
The only solution is a national reconciliation conference for all Iraqi components of society in order for them to reach an agreement plus a time table for US withdrawal from Iraq. I can't predict the future but the US presence in Iraq brought nothing but distraction and bloodshed; perhaps their departure will help Iraqis come together to a joint conference to discuss freely their political future. This would need, on each side, tolerance of each other so as to safeguard the homeland.

Question
I have two questions:
1. What role do the neighbors of Iraq play in shaping the country's politics?
2. Some observers notice a phenomenon of massive exodus of Iraqis; many Iraqis, especially Sunnis, are leaving -mainly to Jordan in addition to other countries. How do you comment on this, and how can this affect Iraq's future and Iraq's demographics?
Answer
For the time being, the United States and Britain are in actual occupation of Iraq. However, it is rumored that Iran has strong influence in Iraq. Other Arab countries and Turkey didn’t show any intervention in Iraqi politics, but if the Iraqis allowed USA to rule over them, then there will be no ethical barrier for neighboring countries to stop meddling in its affairs.
The exodus of Iraqi civilians is true because of the the utter absence of security. A lot of qualified people are leaving the country to Jordan, Syria, and whatever country. I am not sure if the Sunnis have the upper line in this exodus; a lot of Shiites and Kurds are also leaving the country, which tells you a lot about the lack of security and services (electricity, water, fuel, unemployment, etc.).
