Question Salam Aleikum, how can Hamas defeat such an good equipped enemy?

Answer This kind of war does not end with a winner and loser because there is no balance of power between the two fighting parties, yet we can say that there is a party that was successful in achieving its planned goals and another party who failed. Thus, there is no win and lose in this kind of struggles.

Question With claimed progress in this war from the part of Palestinian resistance, will it be realistic to say that groups not members of official armies can easily win in street wars? (please consider the progress of US army in Iraq and the Israeli failure in Lebanon in 2006)

Answer A Gorilla war is always characterized by the presence of a group that is few in number yet believing in what it is doing with a high level of skills in using and operating in the battle field.

Thus, such group can cause inflict big causalities and resist for longer times and can cause change in the balance of power for its benefit due to its ability in managing such kind of wars, which a lot of organized armies can not do.

Question What if Hamas wins this battle in Gaza??? What next?

Answer This will necessarily be followed by treaties managed by the neighboring countries and the involved states, which will end up with a possibility of common-understanding on the way the borders and passages can be operated and on the way the siege can be lifted and on the way parties can live quietly together.

Question What is exactly happening in Gaza. Though, Hamas claimed about "surprises", nothing could be seen so far. Further, is the capture of two soldiers true?

Answer The major change that took place is that the a party that in numbers doesn't exceed 25 or 30 thousands has so far been able to operate battles for the last 10 says with a well equipped army - that includes traditional and nontraditional forces, nuclear and space power that is also ranked the 6th most powerful army in the world.

The bigger organized army cannot till now announce the achievement of its pre-set strategic goals through the battles.

Question As-Salamu 'Alaykum:
What does it matter who wins or loses in the battlefield if it does not have a direct effect on the opening of the borders and ending economic deprivation until the day of Judgment?

Answer Regardless of the the crossing-points or borders, this is an occupied land and all of Palestine is occupied and the struggle will continue as long as there is an occupation and as long as the Palestinian rights are not back.

Question Why no country is helping openly to Gaza ?why Arab country cant send their troops to Gaza? like in Afghanistan different countries had send their troops

Answer The Gaza strip is currently part of Israel for the fact that is occupies it and effectively controlling it from its air-field, from the sea borders, and on the land; especially, all the entries and exit points that control passage.

It is not normal or possible or even have occurred before in history that a military forces enter the land of a foreign country (even if it was occupying another country's lands) if it wasn't for a military operation, an on going war between the two countries.

There can be no Arab military forces (not involved in the current war) pushed against Israel unless there is a military conflict going on.

Question Dr Hussein, After 12 days of relentless massacre of the besieged, defenseless Gaza population, it is quite clear who has military superiority there - nearly 600 Palestinian dead vs. 5 Israelis. For Israel it is just another step towards their Zionist dream, they planned it well in terms of both military strategy and propaganda - They drop bombs and speak of peace in same breath... But just how many more deaths before Arab leaders decide enough is enough and stand up to Israel ? If this carnage doesn't do it, might as well hand the whole of Palestine to Israel on a plate, at least it will save innocent lives...

Answer It depends on how much the Israeli side has in terms of weaponry and equipment so as to inflict the most harm on the target. Israel has the most advanced destructive weapons, using artillery, naval military vessels, and air strikes in order to inflict most harm on Hamas without being subject to losses in life.

This strategy is effective when fighting non-conventional military groups like Hamas. Yet, it does not dictate the course of the battle.

Question dear sir
we all know that the Palestine resistant movement cant be matched the Mighty Israeli fire power, so how much they can harm to incoming Israeli troops?

Answer Hamas does not have capabilities like anti-craft missiles, artilleries, or warplanes. Yet, it does have the ability to resist and the desire to attain either victory of martyrdom, which adds significantly to Hamas as Israel lacks such traits—even when they have the most advanced military weapons.

Question Salam Alikom,

It is clear that Israel's strategy is based on cutting Hamas' supply roads and separating combatants from each others, like the strategy of Sharon in October war, How long do you think that such a group of street fighters will resist such a tactic?

Answer The current Israeli assault is an extension of the long siege forced upon Gaza. Yet, despite that that siege and the 12 days of fierce fighting, Hamas resisted these problems and according to most analysts, it will continue further to resist as they are smart enough to hide their tactics and their real abilities to resist.

Question Did Hamas provoke the Israelis with the not-hurting rockets to turn it into a ground fight? They say Hamas is ready for that...

Answer The battle did not start just couple of days ago as it did start in 2001 when Sharon took office and began to curb all Palestinian resistance groups, putting an end to Oslo accords. Then, the situation was increasingly heightened as Sharon embarked on what was called "Israel Security Strategy".
