It is obvious that the ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza are very different in many ways from previous attacks in both Gaza and West Bank.This is a campaign not witnessed since 1967. First, the scale of attack and air raids is immense. Israel until now has dropped about 500 tons of explosives on Gaza. They have dropped bombs that weigh up to one ton from F 16 fighter jets. Second, they dropped these explosives on institutions during work hours.They targeted all kinds of institutions, even houses of worship.
Today alone, Israelis bombed 5 mosques. A prominent mosque is in Jabalia and a nearby house was completely demolished and five girls inside were killed, one of them is 4 years old.
They have targeted peoples homes unlike before when they used to attach mainly public institutions.
As to how Hamas currently manages Gaza, it is fair to say that many key institutions have been damaged, such as police centers and government offices. But people all rally around Hamas because they know it is the one Israel is trying to eradicate Resistance before it stretches its occupation all over the territories.
Hamas is doing its best and people are rallying around it. This possibly against what the Israeili government anticipates.

Of course they are very precise in attacking their intended targets, such as mosques, civilian population, gov. institutions..etc.
They are very precise about that. Israel claims that it does not target civilians and that some of these may be killed by mistake in attacks.
This can be understood say if a militant compound is near a mosque or populated neighborhood. But this never is the fact.
A lot of times they target Mosques that and people's homes intentionally in order to make these people revolt against Resistance, but this only backfires on the Israelis. Some of them are now acknowledging this and say that these attacks may even strip Abbas from any legitimacy and and further empower Hamas.
So yes, They are precise in killing civilians and that is their intentions.

I think in previous answer, I discussed the scale of what is happening, which is a disaster; indiscriminate killing of civilians and demolishing of public and private institutions. why did the Israelis target worship houses. For what reason. This is hate which translates into apartheid.
As to the second part of you remark, all Palestinians are aware that much of the world populations stands with them, but the few governing bodies in the US and in the Arab world. People appreciate the support of ordinary people and loath the continuous support of Israel from the US government and even from some Arab leaders and government.

Israel says the reason is to stop resistance groups from attacking Israeli villages with rockets. Whether this is true is a totally different story. During the six month truce, Israel constantly attacked Gaza and imposed a heinous siege on its people. Israel stifled the whole population without food, medicine or Gaz.
This is during the truce, when no rockets were fired. So,the reason then for the Israeli massive attack on Gaza is something different from what they claim. Now the only reason I can think of as an individual who lives in Gaza is this:
Gaza has proved its resistance to the Zionist project for building empire in the Middle East. They want to crash the last strongholds of Resistance in Palestine to make it easy then to take over it and bring back their armed settlers.

They have already started assassinations of leaderships and ordinary people. This is no longer something we can expect it is already a reality on the ground.
Yesterday the house of Raid El-Attar, a leader in Hamas military wing, but he was not in his house. A little while ago the house of Mahir Zaqout was also targeted but he was not there and 12 people nearby his house were killed.
So assassinations have already started and they are going to continue.

Some Israeli sources indicate that there is fear among Israeli people in the villages surrounding Gaza. in Some villages Israel has declared a state of emergency because they anticipate the resistance to carry out operations inside Israel in revenge of continuous Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Of course Hamas and other resistance groups inside Gaza have vowed to respond at the appropriate time. They urged all resistance wings of all groups to respond. Of course Israelis are aware that there will be some kind of response and there is fear among their public.

From medical sources inside Gaza, this is the current figure is 345 and this continues to rise every minute and every hour.
But also we should not ignore that hundreds have been injured and and alot have been displaced.
The damage is too much and only god knows how much it is at the moment when the local giv. is unable to evaluate every attack and every damage.

Israel is set to crush not only Hamas but the Palestinian will for self-defense and resistance.
Just to bring the old saying that a man can be destroyed but can he can not be defeated. Yes Israel can destroy Gaza but they can not destroy or kill the spirit of survival and continuity among Palestinians.

How ready is the resistance for an Israeli ground incursion of Gaza?

Resistance sources in Hamas and others say they are ready to defend Gaza against any ground incursion. Of course, I don't have exact information of how prepared they are.
But I am sure they are working tirelessly preparing to halt any such attempt by the Israelis. There is no one else to defend civilians in Gaza in the whole world among people except resistance with its modest capabilities.
