Toyota Corporation Hopes to Bring Breath of Fresh Air To Consumers
The Toyota Corporation has developed new technology for their automobiles in hopes of bringing cleaner air by reducing diesel emissions. The corporation released the information in a press release this week, citing that it is set to roll automobiles equipped with the new technology by 2003.
Singapore Central Bank Takes Wary Approach On Internet Banking
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has given its stamp of approval to Internet banking with the release of its long-awaited regulatory guidelines, giving a boost to the city-state's efforts to be an international financial hub. But the number of electronic banks (e-banks) is not expected to jump sharply anytime soon given the de facto central bank's stringent guidelines, analysts said.
