Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola To Launch Joint E-Trade Standard STOCKHOLM (AFP) - Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia said earlier this week that it would launch a joint standard to facilitate e-trade on mobile phones at a joint press conference with Ericsson of Sweden and Motorola of the United States. The world's three big mobile phone manufacturers are looking to come together to develop technologies to make e-business on mobile phones more accessible. The three held a joint press conference in London on Tuesday to announce the deal. They are inviting other industry participants to cooperate in the future. Both Ericsson and Nokia have said that details of the conference would be released shortly. Ericsson said its sales and marketing director Jan Ahrenbring would be in London for the conference.
