Woman Executed For Killing Her Spouse In Saudi Arabia

JRIYADH (AFP) - A Saudi woman who killed her husband by locking him up in a burning room, and two men convicted of raping a girl were executed.

In a rare case of a woman being executed, Fayza bin Khalaf al-Jawfi's execution was carried out in the northern town of Arar.

The men, also Saudis, were executed in Medina, raising to five the number of executions so far this year in Saudi Arabia.
