by Bakr Atiani for Quds Press WASHUNGTON & ISLAMABAD (Islam Online & Quds Press) - Four Israeli militia members, fighting with Indian forces, have been killed in Kashmir.
Hafez Mohamad Said, who heads a Pakistani-backed group named the Army of Taiba, told reporters in a press conference held on Monday that the group were able to locate Israeli experts and commandos who arrived in Srinigar, the capital of Indian-held Kashmir. Said also confirmed that there are other Israeli experts in other Kashmiri cities, as part of an Indian-Israeli security agreement. The Army of Taiba is considered one of 14 military groups included in the Unified Kashmiri Jihad Council, all of which are Pakistani, except for the Hezbul Mujahideen, which is of the Jamaat-i-Islami in Kashmir. However, the group did not provide any details on the operation or how the Israeli soldiers were killed. Pakistani Foreign Minister Abdus Sattar Aziz has accused Israel of aiding India in its fight in Kashmir. In a press conference Monday, Sattar asked Israeli officials not to export the coercive methods they use against Palestinians to other countries. |
