ANKARA, April 28 (AFP) - Turkey's international soccer star Hakan Sukur, a devout Muslim, said Friday he would be making a mini-pilgrimage (umra) to Mecca. "I'll go at the first opportunity, in a very short period of time, because I'm really, very enthusiastic about that," Sukur, the 28-year-old striker of Turkish giants Galatasaray, told the daily Sabah newspaper. "In my opinion a person without a faith is like an empty tin," he said. Sukur added he was praying five times a day, frequently reading the Holy Qur’an in Arabic.
