Siraj Wahhaj Decries Lack Of Muslim Awareness Of U.S. Politics
A major American Muslim leader said that Muslims must exert more of an effort to understand how politics works in the United States and how to create a change. "We are politically immature but it is time for maturity," he told Islam Online after a fundraising dinner for a new mega-mosque in northern Virginia, adding that there are efforts to hammer out a Muslim political agenda these days.
