DAMASCUS,
April 30 (IslamOnline) - The owner of a Syrian restaurant was not
satisfied with telling every and each American that they were not
allowed in. This made him put a huge sign on his restaurant’s front
door reading, “No Americans allowed”.
Ahmed
Diab, owner of Mondo Fast Food - designed in an American style - said
that he considered “all Americans responsible for what is going on
in Palestine, not just the U.S. diplomats”.
Early
April, owner of another Syrian restaurant (Oxygen) told the U.S.
consul to Syria that he was not welcome in her restaurant and sent him
out.
Diab
said that Palestinian children, women and men are killed and
humiliated on a daily basis, thanks to American biased policies. “We
cannot offer them food in our restaurants in return. Let the Americans
feel our growing hatred because of their country’s hostile policies
toward Arabs,” he added.
“No
one questions U.S. aid, of all kinds, to Israel. So, we have every
right to express our rejection to such policies in any way we see
fit.”
Diab
called on all Arab states and peoples to boycott U.S. products,
dismiss U.S. ambassadors and consuls. He asserted that many of the
Syrian businessmen he knows are changing their dealings from the U.S.
dollar to the Euro currency.
