Bin Laden Says He Is Not Involved
Rejecting U.S. allegations, Osama Bin Laden has said that he, or his al-Qaeda organization have no involvement in the September 11th terrorist attacks on the New York World Trade Center and Washington's Pentagon, saying, "American authorities should search terrorists inside their own country and intelligence agencies."

European Union Calls for Bin Laden To Be Extradited to International Tribunal
The Parliamentary Council of the European Union has requested the U.S. to have Osama bin Laden, accused by the U.S. for the September 11th attacks on New York and Washington, to be extradited to an international tribunal for trials in accordance with the United Nations Treaty for Combating Terrorism and United Nations Security Council Resolutions.

Pakistan Delegation Meets Taliban
A Pakistani delegation of religious scholars met with Taliban leaders in Afghanistan on Friday, in a last ditch attempt to persuade the Islamic militia to hand over Osama bin Laden.

Amnesty International (AI) and Human Rights Watch (HRW), the world's leading human rights organizations, have called on governments participating in the "war on terrorism", specifically the United States and the European Union, to ensure the human rights of civilians who will inevitably be victimized by the repercussions of the conflict.
