One of Africa’s most “senseless” border disputes is finally coming to an end. Ethiopia and Eritrea announced early this week they would sign a comprehensive peace treaty in the Algerian capital of Algiers on December 12th to formally end a merciless conflict that has claimed thousands of lives since it erupted two years ago, news reports said.
