CBS News Magazine 60 Minutes Receives Concerns From Muslim Americans

E-mails between Muslims bombarded the Internet Wednesday and Thursday concerning a Sunday television broadcast of a story planned for CBS’s news magazine 60 Minutes dealing, in part, with the death of 12-year-old Mohammed al-Durra in the Occupied Territories.


OIC Continues Amid Approval Of Doha Decision
The foreign ministers of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), wound up their second session here tonight under the chairmanship of Qatar’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor al-Thani.

Qatar Officially Closes Trade Offices With Israel As Saudi Rejoins OIC Conference 

Qatari officials announced Thursday afternoon that the Israeli trade office in Doha would be closed in protest of the escalating Israeli repression in the Occupied Territories, and in solidarity with the position of Islamic country members in the OIC towards the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
