When You Look at Me

When you look at me you only see the shell I live within,

So don't judge me by my accent or the color of my skin,

We only differ outwardly in hue or form or line,

So marvel at the beauty of Allah's great design,

For He will only grade us by our Taqwa and Imam,

The noblest in the sight of God is oft despised by man.
