Muslim Affairs in `Eid..`Eid Marked by a Sour Taste in Palestine!

Unlike other countries, where `Eid is a time for rejoicing, the Palestinian family do not enjoy the `Eid. Rather, they remember vividly their lost martyrs. This very feeling overwhelm the family atmosphere.

Let’s imagine the `Eid of a bereaved mother who lost her child, how could she celebrate the `Eid?!

Families of martyrs who gather together to have their Iftar meal remember with a deep sense of sadness those lost in the unjust Israeli war. So joy and merry making that is common in both Ramadan and the `Eid are rarely noticed in Palestinian families.

As for those missed or held in concentration camps, the only relief those families have is the glimmer of hope that those absent will return one day or the other.

No doubt that the climate in Palestine has become very gloomy and Palestinians are crying for help but in vain!

How could a Palestinian family wallow in luxury and rejoice while their breadwinner is behind prison bars.

It is high time to utter sincere supplications so that the situation returns to normal and those incarcerated will be set free in the near future!
