Endeavour Returns to Earth
The US space shuttle Endeavour returned to Earth on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, capping a milestone flight to the International Space Station (ISS). During their 16-day mission, the space shuttle's crew installed the first part of a Japanese research laboratory and assembled a Canadian robot. The next shuttle visit to the ISS is scheduled for late May, when Discovery is due to arrive with the main part of the bus-sized Japanese laboratory, Kibo.
