Massive Blast at Dubai Fireworks Warehouse
A huge explosion ripped through a fireworks warehouse on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in an industrial area in Dubai. Dubai's civil defense reported that one person was killed and one injured in the blast. Dubai-based Al Arabiya News Channel, which aired exclusive footage of the explosion, showed a huge fireball shooting around 100 meters into the sky. An AFP photographer reported that around a dozen of fire engines and ambulances rushed to the scene.
