US's Libby Gets 30 Months in Prison
Former vice presidential aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby was sentenced on Tuesday, June 05, 2007, to 30 months in prison for lying and obstructing investigators during a probe tied to the Iraq war. Investigators were trying to determine who leaked the identity of CIA analyst Valerie Plame in 2003 after husband accused the Bush administration of manipulating intelligence to build its case for war.
