Mass Grave for Kosovo Muslims Found
Serbia started an investigation on Tuesday, June 05, 2007, into a mass grave believed to contain up to 500 Albanian victims of Serbia 's war against Kosovo Albanians. Bruno Vekaric, the spokesman for Serbia's war crimes prosecutors, said witnesses reported seeing trucks unload bodies in the area of Raska, near the border with Kosovo in 1999 during a Serbian crackdown. The grave would be the largest discovered in Serbia since 2001, when more than 800 dead Albanians were found in two sites in Serbia.
