US Muslims Want Apology After Bombing Makkah Remark 
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said Tuesday, July 19, 2005, that it is seeking a meeting with Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) over his recent remarks suggesting support for bombing Makkah, asking him for Apology. CAIR asked the Rupulican party to repudiate Tancredo's Remarks. The Colorado congressman told a radio show host that the US could "take out" Islamic holy sites if what he described as Muslim terrorists attacked the country with nuclear weapons.
