Spain Authorities Arrest 227 Would-Be Immigrant
Some 227 would-be immigrant were rescued from a fishing boat which was adrift off the Spanish Canary Island of Tenerife, on Saturday, February 5, 2005. Thousands of African Illegal immigrants tried to enter illegally Spain by boats to the Canaries or mainland Spain each year in search of a better life.
