Peace Activists Protest Israeli Separation Wall 
Israeli soldiers scuffled with foreign peace activists during a protest at the construction site of Israel’s controversial separation wall in the West Bank village of Budrus, Tuesday, December 7, 2004. The International Court of Justice in The Hague, the UN's highest tribunal, ruled in July that the barrier was illegal and that parts built on Palestinian territory must be dismantled. That non-binding verdict was later endorsed by a vote among members of the UN General Assembly, including all members of the European Union.
