Several US Soldiers Wounded in Ramadi
Several US soldiers were wounded by Iraqi resistance attacks in the city of Ramadi, 100 km west of Baghdad early Saturday, November 27, 2004, a day after US occupation forces called on the foreign fighters in Iraq to go back to their homes or they would be arrested and face the death penalty. At the same time, US soldiers are trying to convince the population of Ramadi to cooperate in the hunt for insurgents, but the residents are hesitant, fearing bloody retaliation.
