US Forces Kill 15 Iraqis, Detain 45 in Mosul
At least 15 Iraqis have been killed and 45 detained over the last 24 hours by US troops in the Iraqi city of Mosul, Saturday, November 20, 2004. US soldiers stormed a mosque on a side street and detained 23 worshippers. They also detained unarmed people who where playing cards and dominoes in a nearby tea house when the troops showed up. A raid Thursday by US troops on the Medical City hospital and surrounding neighborhoods on the northwest side and held 22 Iraqis.
