Seven Killed in Air Strike on Fallujah
Seven people were killed and 11 wounded overnight Saturday, September 25, 2004, when US occupation forces again used artillery and planes to pound the Iraqi city of Fallujah. The US military confirmed in a statement that it had carried out operations overnight in the city and claimed the air strike targeted a hideout for militants loyal to Abu Mussab Al-Zarqawi. The US military has intensified its strikes on Fallujah this month, killing dozens of civilians.
