Turkey Meatballs 

Editor’s Choice: You can make Turkey Meatballs as small or as large as you would like. Blended with Italian spices, Turkey Meatballs can be done in the oven or fried on the cooker. An adaptable contribution To Iftar that can be made from left-over turkey from the night before and can be a part of a meal, or eaten later as a snack..

Ingredients:

  • 500g turkey mince

  • 2 tablespoon whole wheat flour

  • ½ onion chopped / fried

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

  • 1 beaten egg

  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Method:

  • Combine all ingredients to form firm wet dough.

  • Roll into small balls.

  • Bake in moderate oven or deep fry.

  • Serve with a sauce.
