OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, March 26 (IslamOnline.net) – Exploiting world preoccupation with the ongoing U.S.-led war of aggression on Iraq, Israeli occupation forces Tuesday, March 25, killed six Palestinians, including a ten-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Two activists of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas were gunned down in a manhunt by an Israeli special forces unit, reported Israel radio.

The two Palestinians opened fire on the Israeli unit, claimed the radio, making no mention of their identities.

During the fire battle with the Palestinian fighters, the Israeli soldiers opened fire at two Palestinian cars, leaving Mowafaq Badran, 40, dead.

Also Tuesday, ten-year-old Christine George Saada breathed her last while her parents were seriously injured and her sister moderately wounded by Israeli gunfire.

The Israeli army did not comment on the accident, but Israel radio said an  investigation was opened.

In the West Bank, a 14-year-old Palestinian was shot dead when Israeli occupation forces randomly opened fire at stone throwers in the northern town of Jenin.

Ahmed Abahri was shot in the head, to be the second child losing his life to Israeli gunfire within last two days in Jenin, which is now fully reoccupied by the Israeli occupation forces.

Israeli forces re-occupied almost the entire West Bank last June.

In southern Gaza Strip, the occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian youngman in a southern Jewish settlement.

Two Palestinian gunmen were shot at when they approached the electronic fence  of the settlement, the Israeli radio claimed, adding a body of one of them was found and there is a hunt for the other.

Palestinian sources repudiated the report, while witnesses said they heard a fire shooting by Israeli occupation forces.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces abducted 19 Palestinian fighters in the West Bank late on Monday, March 24.

More than 7,000 Palestinians are estimated to he held in Israeli military detention camps, abducted since the outbreak of the Palestinian Intifada against the Israeli occupation allegedly on suspicion of involvement in attacks or other anti-Israeli activities.
