JERUSALEM, March 10 (IslamOnline.net & News Agencies) -
Palestinian resistance activists shot dead an Israeli and wounded
three others, one of them seriously, in the West Bank town of
al-Khalil late Monday, March 10.
The
shooting took place close to the western entrance to the settlement of
Kiryat Arba, Israeli military sources said, reported Ha’aretz daily.
Israeli
military sources, quoted by the paper, said several Israelis were
wounded in the shooting attack and that Israeli soldiers were engaged
in a firefight with the Palestinian shooters.
The

Patriarchs and Kiryat Arba. The four initially received medical
treatment at the scene of the shooting and were then transferred to

The
attack took place in the same place as a shooting in December 2002, in
which two military police officers - a man and a woman - were killed.
The
rsistance operatiopn came as Israeli occupation forces re-deployed in
areas in northern Gaza Strip which were re-occupied last Wednesday.
