166 000 people have been killed in the recent devastating tsunami that hit
surrounding islands and countries of the Indian Ocean. Entire families have been
washed away along with their homes, cities, infrastructure and natural
environment. Many thousands are still missing and the survivors are still in a
state of shock, grieving and struggling with day-to-day survival.
The
Emergency relief and reconstruction costs are expected to run into tens of
billions of dollars…
